The Northwest Fisheries Science Center collaborated with planners and researchers to collect time series data on key ecological indicators of Washington’s marine waters and is preparing a final overview of the status of Washington’s coastal indicators. Research scientist, Kelly Andrews, will present the results of the project on ecological indicators for Washington’s marine waters. Ecological indicators provide a way to monitor the overall health of an ecosystem. The results of the project were a compilation of information from scientists and resource managers with expertise and interest in Washington coastal waters and estuaries.
This is a free event and all members of the public are welcome. The presentation is hosted by the Grays Harbor Coalition of Infrastructure, and Citizens for a Clean Harbor.
