Cascade Economics drafted an economic analysis to enable a deeper understanding of the elements of the ocean economy and assist in the development of Washington’s Marine Spatial Plan. Much of the initial work involved working with the WCMAC and the Science Advisory Panel to develop and refine the scope of the economic analysis. Scoping for the project included a public workshop.
On June 1, the Advisory Council and other interested members of the public are invited to join Cascade Economics for an in-depth discussion about the draft report. Input from the workshop may assist in guiding the final draft of the report.
